How to Download Your Facebook Information

Before deleting your Facebook account, download your personal data, which includes photos, messages, and other details:

  1. Log in via Desktop:
    • Click the down arrow under your profile picture in the top-right corner.
    • Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. Access Information Download:
    • Scroll to Your Information in the left column.
    • Click Download Your Information.
  3. Choose What to Download:
    • You’ll be prompted to visit the Accounts Center. Click Continue.
    • Select the accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) you want to include.
    • Specify the date range, format (HTML or JSON), and media quality (high, medium, or low).
  4. Submit Request:
    • Click Submit Request.
    • You’ll receive an email notification when your file is ready.

How to Delete Your Facebook Account

  1. Access Account Settings:
